I have always known I am a very sporatic artist.  I see something in my head and I make it, end of story no questions asked.  I have never limited myself as far as one single art form however I have recently discovered there have always been 2 things I know for 100% sure; that art and theatre would always be there for me.

 

I  heavily rely on both art and theatre and have always been searching for a way to combine my two passions. It was only a few years ago I truly found my love for costumes. I found this as the perfect way to mix my three passions of art, theatre, and clothing. So to me costume design is much more than clothes and fabric. To me costuming is a way for my art can show my emotions and inner self. I love the joy it brings people when they put on something they truly love and look amazing in. Art should make people feel something and I want my pieces to bring joy and amazement to not only my actors but also to my audience members. I hope to make people connect on many different levels through my details and intricate designs.

 

I’m not entirely sure where my life is taking me however I do know my ultimate goal in life is to bring joy and make people happy and I believe one way of doing that hopefully is through these costumes. My graphic design which I use to design everything from show posters to teeshirt designs to dresses of my own.  My long time goal is to create a clothing company in which I can digitally design things about the theatre world and put them on clothes, That to me would be the perfect place for my talents to combine and end up thriving.
